Terms and conditions of use

These terms govern your relationship with UpcShovDown and your use of this website. By opening an account you agree to be bound by these terms.

Chances are you're about to lose. Wagering carries financial risk and is restricted to persons aged 18 and over. Free and confidential support on Gambling Help Online 1800 858 858 or gamblinghelponline.org.au.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and ordinarily resident in Australia to open and maintain an UpcShovDown account. You must provide truthful, accurate and complete information at registration and keep that information current. UpcShovDown may refuse to open, suspend or close any account at its discretion.

2. Account verification

UpcShovDown is required under applicable Northern Territory wagering laws, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing requirements, and the National Consumer Protection Framework to verify your identity. You may be asked to provide an Australian driver licence, Medicare card, current Australian passport or other accepted identity information. Withdrawals cannot be released until identity verification is complete.

3. Bets and prices

Once a bet is placed and accepted, it cannot be cancelled by you, except where UpcShovDown offers a Cash Out option. UpcShovDown may void any bet placed at an obviously incorrect price or accepted in error. Bets submitted while a market is suspended, or after a material event has occurred, may be rejected or voided.

Maximum payout per ticket across all sports and racing markets is $500,000.

4. Voids, dead heats and rule four

If an event doesn't start on the scheduled day or is abandoned without an official result, all match-result bets are void and stakes returned. Dead heat rules apply to all win, place, top scorer and similar markets. Rule four deductions apply to all racing markets when a runner is scratched after final declarations.

5. Deposits and withdrawals

UpcShovDown accepts Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit, PayID, BPAY, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Credit cards are not accepted for any deposit, in line with the prohibition under Australian law from June 2024. Minimum deposit is $10. Minimum withdrawal is $20. Withdrawals are returned to a verified Australian bank account.

6. Inactive accounts

Accounts with no betting activity for 12 months are placed on inactive status. UpcShovDown will email you a notice 30 days before any maintenance fee or transfer to unclaimed money is applied, in line with state legislation.

7. Pre-commitment limits

You can set deposit, loss and session limits at any time from your account settings. Lower limits apply immediately. Increases take seven days to come into effect, as required under the National Consumer Protection Framework.

8. Self-exclusion

You can take a break or self-exclude any time. Self-exclusion through the national BetStop register applies across all licensed Australian wagering providers for the period you choose, with a minimum of three months and a maximum of lifetime.

9. Disputes

Formal complaints should be raised through your account messages or by email to support@upcshovdown.com. If a dispute is not resolved within 28 days, you may escalate it to the Northern Territory Racing Commission. UpcShovDown will review disputes in line with these terms and applicable law.

10. Changes

UpcShovDown may change these terms at any time. Changes are effective when published on this page. Material changes will also be notified to you by email at the address registered to your account.
